Someone needs to give this ‘99 F-150 a good home. Base V6, manual gearbox, 4x4, standard cab, flareside short bed, this thing is as small as you can get without going Ranger. If I didn’t already have a bigly truck, I’d be jumping on it.

What perplexes me is the photos:

Why are there two different odometers pictured? Clearly the first one goes with the truck and corresponds with the mileage in the ad, but still.

two options:

1 guy is selling multiple vehicles and posted a pic from a different ad accidentally

2 due to ads now costing $5, sellers with multiple vehicles update an existing ad once the car sells with pics and details for a different car, but left an image for the last one

So now that I have a scooter, I've been looking at trucks/vans below $5k that I could use for transport (among other things). This truck would certainly fit the bill.

Would buy!  I prefer the extended cab (with the little fail doors) so I could bring along a doggo and a human, but otherwise this is a good spec.

The manual would be nice, but I'm also not opposed to an automatic. I won't be doing anything too heavy duty with it.

Somewhat paradoxically, automatics are the preferred gearbox for heavy hauling in Ford pickups. The manuals aren’t as sturdy under huge, extended loads. Absolutely fine for anything that truck is rated to haul or tow, though.

Realistically, I would use a truck to move my scooter, my lawnmower, camping gear, and the occasional pinball machine. I've been looking at used Rangers and Colorados mostly. But I'm not too picky.
